Community membership processes.

Community members are users who may post, comment on, and vote on ideas. Some users may also be moderators, and some may me bloggers. Administrators are responsible for the set-up and day-to-day running of an Medallia Ideas community. For information about the different types of members, see Permissions and access levels.

Anyone with a Medallia Ideas account may join public community.

In private (closed) communities, people must be approved to become members. You can invite people to join your community by sending them an email invitation. They become members when the respond to the invite and register with the community. Alternatively, Medallia Ideas users may request to join your community. However, an administrator must first review and approve the request for the user to become a member.

Members may be banned or removed from the community, such as for not adhering to the community policies, or no longer an employee of the company.
