Results
The Results sub-tab displays a header with key information — the Ask Now duration (start and end date), user that created it, and the survey is part of — as well as each response separately to quickly aggregate results. Ask Now questions are visualized individually, following the same order as in the Ask Now page.
Each survey question is a Feedback field with a specific data type, which determines the data visualization in the Summary view as follows:
-
For Choice set data type (as in Multiple choice - one, Multiple choice - many, Rating scale, Grid, Dropdown, and, Ranking order), it shows the distribution of responses to each choice, displaying the percentage of responses for each option. You can display data in a table, horizontal bar chart, or donut.
Tip: Results uses Segment Distribution Snapshot module to build this visualization. -
For Integer and Fractional data types (as in Number entry), question data is displayed as an average of the values to that question. Mouse over the big number in the chart to see more detailed data, including the sample size.
Tip: Results uses Big Number module to build this visualization. -
For Date, Datetime and Time data types (as in Date), it shows the count of responses to that question. For example, it would show 5 only if 5 survey takers out of 10 provided the date of the checkout.
-
For Text, Comment, and Email data type (as in Text and Text entry), question data is displayed as a summary of verbatim comments from survey responses. Click Go to response link to see full details.
If Medallia Text Analytics is available in your instance and there is at least one topic set, you can run any available Sentiment(s) and see responses in the original language.
Note: Results uses Comment Stream module to build this visualization.
