Use Case - Creating a Data Export to Share Customer Data

Creating a Data Export let’s you share customer data for an audience for further analysis. It comprises a three-stage process:

  1. Configure a destination for your data export.
  2. Create and process your engagement query.
  3. Share the resulting data export.

Step 1 - Configure a destination for your Data Export

  1. In MXO, choose Analyze.
  2. Select Audience Destinations and then click Create.
  3. Enter a unique Name for your new destination.TB - DE Use Case 1

  5. Select Data Export v8 as your format.TB - DE Use Case 3
  6. Provide the required connection details for your storage location.TB - DE Use Case 4
  7. Click Save.

Step 2 - Create and process your Data Export query

  1. In MXO, choose Analyze.
  2. Select Dynamic Audiences and then click Create.
  3. Enter a unique Name for your query. The query name forms the first part of the filename for the export.TB - DE Use Case 5
  4. Select export all customer data for date as your query type from the dropdown.TB - DE Use Case 6
  5. Select the relevant time period for this export from the date filters dropdown.TB - DE Use Case 7
  6. Click Save and then click Process.

Step 2 - Share your Data Export

  1. In MXO, choose Analyze.
  2. Select Dynamic Audiences.
  3. Click Share or Download for your Date Export.TB - DE Use Case 8
