Use Case - Creating a Data Export to Share Customer Data
Creating a Data Export let’s you share customer data for an audience for further analysis. It comprises a three-stage process:
- Configure a destination for your data export.
- Create and process your engagement query.
- Share the resulting data export.
Step 1 - Configure a destination for your Data Export
- In MXO, choose Analyze.
- Select Audience Destinations and then click Create.
- Enter a unique Name for your new destination.
- Select your Destination type.
- Select Data Export v8 as your format.
- Provide the required connection details for your storage location.
- Click Save.

Step 2 - Create and process your Data Export query
- In MXO, choose Analyze.
- Select Dynamic Audiences and then click Create.
- Enter a unique Name for your query. The query name forms the first part of the filename for the export.
- Select export all customer data for date as your query type from the dropdown.
- Select the relevant time period for this export from the date filters dropdown.
- Click Save and then click Process.

Step 2 - Share your Data Export
- In MXO, choose Analyze.
- Select Dynamic Audiences.
- Click Share or Download for your Date Export.
- 1. In the Configure Destinations panel, locate the destination with which you want to share your data export and click Share Audience.
