Change your Space when testing your Android App
To enable testing of changes to your app using a particular Space, you can update the SDK with the Site Key for that Space, on the fly, when in Preview mode.
Step 1 - Navigate to the current SDK Configuration
- Open the app with the SDK running in Admin mode.
- After logging in, long press the Poker chip to enter Preview mode. The Poker chip turns green to indicate you are in Preview mode.
- Access the Preview panel by tapping the Poker chip again.
- Click SDK Settings.
- Click SDK Configuration.
The SDK Configuration screen displays the current SDK parameters configured for your app.
Step 2 - Update the SDK Configuration with new Site Key details
- On the SDK Configuration screen, enter the Site Key for the new Space you want to test in the Site Key field.
- Apply those changes.
If you have not previously saved the Admin credentials for the new Space, MXO prompts you to log in. The new Space automatically opens in Preview mode.
Step 3 - Validate the new SDK Configuration in Monitor
After updating the SDK with new Site Key details, you can validate the new SDK configuration in Monitor.
- Tap the Poker chip again to view the current TID. Note: Remember, the new Space automatically opens in Preview mode after you log in.
- Monitor the TID in MXO to ensure that your app is configured with the correct Space.
