What Outbound APIs does MXO provide?
We provide two APIs to help you integrate MXO with your outbound communications:
Outbound Activity API
The Outbound Activity API lets you capture customer activity for outbound communications that are not generated by MXO You can:
- Add a tracking pixel to your outbound communications. For example, to capture whether or not a customer opens an email sent to them.
- Add a tracking redirect URL to your outbound communications. For example, to capture whether or not a customer clicks a link in a promotional email.
Outbound Responses API
The Outbound Responses API lets you configure your email template to track how customers respond to optimizations contained within the emails you send. You can:
- Add a tracking pixel and response code to your email template to track when a customer opens an email containing a personalized optimization.Typically, you would use this to track neutral responses.
- Format any links in optimized emails to include a redirect email and response code to track when a customers clicks on those links. Typically, you would this to track positive responses.
