Using your own domain for surveys and reports

Medallia Agile Research recommends using your own domain for your emails, surveys, and reports. This will dramatically increase the trustworthiness of your email invitations and surveys resulting in a higher response rate.

The benefits of using your own domain include the following:

  • This will dramatically increase the trustworthiness of your email invitations and surveys resulting in a higher response rate.
  • Email invitations, reminders, and notifications will all be sent from your domain.
  • You will be able to allow-list your invitations more easily.
  • The domain will be used for your survey URLs.
  • The domain will be used for your shared report URLs.

Your own domain.

Use custom domains in combination with AdHoc, Experience Cloud, etc.

An Agile Research custom domain consists of an email domain and a survey domain. If you already have 'domain masking' in use in an Experience Cloud program or AdHoc survey, you are not able to use the same survey domain in Agile Research. However, the email domain can be the same.

Custom domain request process for Agile Research tool users

Agile Research tool users should contact their administrator, who will then approve and request the custom domain and any associated changes. If the account administrator approves the request but cannot complete the form, the account administrator can provide the link to the Custom Domain Request Form to another tool user by clicking the question mark in the Agile Research account and then selecting Request a custom domain. In the page that opens, copy the full URL in the browser's address bar and then share this with the person who will complete the form.
