Session Details

Session Details provides further information about a session, including visitor details and engagement metrics.

Using Session Details

In Analyze Sessions, in the Actions column, click Show details button Show details for the session you want to see further details for.Session details

The following tabs are available on the top right of Session Details:

DXSDisplays DXS scores for the session
SegmentsDisplays segments associated with the session
Related sessionsDisplays the visitor's other sessions from the same property
The following tabs are available at the bottom of Session Details:
TabDescription
PagesDisplays all pages visited in the session with the following details:
  • Order — Order the page was visited

  • Page — Page name and URL

  • Wait time

    Average time taken before visitors are able to interact with the page before fully rendering

    Note: Hover over the wait time to view more page performance metrics.
  • Focus time

    Length of time the page or screen was the main focus on the visitor's device. If the visitor goes to a different browser tab or opens a different program while DXA is running, this would count towards the total duration and not the focus time.

  • Duration — Length of time the property was running on the user's device

  • Time

    Date and time of the session

  • Actions

    Click View in Session to go directly to the point where the page was visited in the session replay.

Experience Issues

Displays all Experience Issues captured in the session with the following details:

  • Issue — Captured Experience Issue
  • Experience pillar — Impacted Pillar Score
  • Affects — URL affected by the Experience Issue
  • Actions

    Click View in Session to go directly to the point where the page was visited in the session replay.

BehaviorsDisplays all Behaviors captured in the session with the following details:
  • Name — Behavior name
  • Page — Page the Behavior was captured on
  • Duration — Length of time the Behavior lasted
  • Actions

    Click View in Session to go directly to the point where the page was visited in the session replay.

Tracked Events

Displays all tracked events captured in the session with the following details:

  • Name — Tracked event name
  • TypeTracked event type
  • Trigger — Specifies if the tracked event was triggered by an action or a rule
    Note: For more information, see Tracked Event Integration Methods.
    Value — Assigned monetary value of the tracked event, if applicable
  • Actions

    Click View in Session to go directly to the point where the page was visited in the session replay.

Note: Deleted tracked events are displayed on the table and recorded as triggered in historical session replays.
Technical Errors

Displays all technical errors captured in the session with the following details:

  • Error — Error name
  • Type — Error type
  • Page — Page the error was captured on
  • Line — Line in the code where the error occurred
  • Column — Column in the code where the error occurred
    Note: If the technical error can't be attributed to a line in the code (for example, because of a 404 error), the Line and Column values are displayed as 0.
  • Count — Number of times the error occurred in the session

  • Actions

    Click View in Session to go directly to the point where the page was visited in the session replay.

Form Errors

Displays all form errors captured in the session with the following details:

  • Error — Form error name
  • Form — Name of the form and the field the form error occurred on
  • Count — Number of times the form error occurred in the session
  • Actions

    Click View in Session to go directly to the point where the page was visited in the session replay.
