Browser notifications
Receive notifications based on Stream filter criteria.
With web browser notifications, you can be alerted when specific types of customer feedback are received, even if you're not actively working within Medallia Agent Connect at the time. Browser notifications are most frequently used to highlight when individual team members receive negative feedback.
To enable browser notifications:
Click the bell icon next to the "Filter Responses" header on the left side of the Stream, then click Set up notifications.
Configure filters to determine exactly when you will be notified, then click Next. In the example below, you would receive notifications for one, two, and three-star responses.
Click "Next" again, then grant permission for the notifications in the browser pop-up dialogue that appears.
Browser notifications will appear as long as you have Agent Connect open (even if the tab is minimized at the time). Clicking a notification will take you to the specific piece of customer feedback that triggered it.
Limited support in Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer does not fully support browser notifications. You can still enable the feature, but when new responses come in, the Agent Connect stream will return to the top of your screen and show you an alert that you have new feedback.
If you are able to use a different browser, that will allow you to take full advantage of the browser notifications.
