Display customer information on the Stream

Assign permission to view customer information by user role.

The Stream is your window into real-time feedback in Agent Connect, and displaying customer information (like the customer's name and email address) can provide more context when reviewing responses. Some teams prefer to only display customer data on the Stream for specific user roles. We leave the choice up to you!

Assign permissions

To adjust which roles have access to customer information on the Stream, adjust the permissions for each role to include or exclude the permission "View Customer Information on Stream" by following the steps below.

  1. Open the Settings page (gear icon) while logged in as an administrator.

  2. Click the "Manage Team" tile.

  3. Open the Roles tab on the Manage Team page to view the roles in your organization. ​

  4. Click in any row, or click the kebab menu in any row and select "Edit Role".

  5. In the Feedback section, select the "View Customer Information on Stream" checkbox.

It is important to include a link to the original ticket for each interaction on the Stream (if it is provided to Agent Connect by your integration). This allows for valuable insight and real-time coaching opportunities, but keep in mind that agents will be able to access customer information by viewing the original ticket.​
