Co-authors are collaborators who have contributed to an idea or agreed to assist after you post it. Co-authors

Have the same permissions and rights as the principle author.
Can edit the idea.

Are classified as "Author' when they comment on the idea.

Earn points along with the principle author for activity on the idea (e.g., if someone follows the idea, comments on it, votes for it, etc.)
Cannot vote the idea themselves.
When added to an idea, all points an idea has accumulated before their addition, as well as any subsequent points. This ensures that contributors not initially part of the community are recognized for their contributions upon joining.
Can remove themselves from an idea anytime by clicking Remove myself from this idea. However, the original author cannot relinquish authorship.
If you have been added as a co-author you do not need to do anything to confirm this, it happens automatically.
