Operational Metrics
The Operational Metrics page lets you view the overall health of your current published configuration, providing you with a set of metrics, so you can check that things are working as you expect.
For Operational Metrics to provide you with meaningful data, customers must be interacting with your Touchpoints.
What information can I view for Operational Metrics?
To view information about Operational Metrics, the relevant entities in your Space must be published.
The information you can view for Operational Metrics is split into five main categories:
- Data Adapters. Containing details about successful and failed attempts to read information from your external Data Adapters, along with other performance metrics.
- Datastores. Containing details about reads and inserts of data into your datastores.
- Optimization Points. Contains details about which optimization points are being evaluated and what actions are being returned.
- Touchpoints. Containing details about the number of requests sent to your Touchpoints and, for Web Touchpoints, details of requests that match only to a wildcard interaction.
- Utilization. Containing details about the total number of billable events for your tenancy, over time.
Counts displayed on the Operational Metrics page may appear as "Blank" in the following circumstances:
- If you have not published your setup.
- If you have published your setup but there are no events available to view for the selected time period.
What timeframe can I view information for?
In general, you can view information about events for:
- the last 24 hours,
- the last 7 days,
- the last 30 days,
- the last 90 days, or
- the last 365 days (one year).
Each individual report, however, may provide only a subset of these timeframes.
Selecting 24 hours provides you with the most recent available data. Selecting any other option days provides you with data up to midnight yesterday.
