Create and Manage Priority Rules

As well as using the out-of-the-box Priority Rules, you can also create your own custom ones.

Edit Priority Rules

You may want to edit one of the out-of-the-box Eligibility Rules, for example, to give marketing priority a higher weighting when using Interest and Marketing priority as your arbitration method.

  1. In MXO , choose Orchestrate.
  2. Select Priority Rules.
  3. Select the Eligibility Rule you want to edit and click the **Edit **icon.
  4. Make your required changes.
  5. Click Save.

Delete Priority Rules

You may want to delete an out-of-the-box Priority Rule, for example, to simplify the arbitration methods available to users or remove any methods your organization is unlikely to use.

  1. In MXO , choose Orchestrate.
  2. Select Priority Rules.
  3. Select the Eligibility Rule you want to delete and click the **Delete **icon.
  4. Click Yes, delete it.

Create a Custom Priority Rule

You may want to create custom Priority Rule to cover use cases not addressed by the out-of-the-box rules, already provided.

  1. In MXO , choose Orchestrate.
  2. Select Priority Rules and click Create.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Begin typing your new Priority Rule directly into the editor and MXO automatically suggests data items you may be looking for. Select the correct item from the list and carry on typing.
    • Select Open Data Item Picker and choose the data items to include in your Priority Rule.
  4. Click Save when your Priority Rule is complete.
