Manage interactions

The interactions pane on the survey management page shows a list of all existing survey interactions sorted first by current status (pending, in progress, complete) and then by the scheduled_at time. It can be useful to troubleshoot and test surveys as well as to go back to previous interactions and address specific responses.

The interactions pane also serves the purpose of being a place to add interactions and upload CSV interactions.

Managing Interactions

The default setting of the interactions pane is to show all of the Not Started surveys.

If you'd like to look at all of the surveys that have been scheduled, click the top right button and select Status. This will take you to all of the surveys that have been sent out along with the fields shown above. This list allows you to view details of past interactions and edit interactions that are currently pending.

You can search within each field. Some allow manual input while others are just drop-down menus.

You can look at completed surveys and their details by clicking the document icon next to the status on each interaction. A sample details page is available below.

These details include all of the attributes for the survey as well as an Events log where you can troubleshoot for Triggers & Events, to see if they fired off correctly, as well as see when the survey was started and when it was completed/abandoned.

Editing Interactions

Pending surveys, those that have not been opened or are scheduled for the future, can be edited.

You can edit some attributes directly from the interactions pane (eg: phone, email, etc.) and then click the check mark to save your changes. To edit other attributes including custom attributes, click the pencil icon to open the attributes editor, make your changes and save them.

To delete a pending interaction click the x button.
