Create and Manage Amazon S3 Audience Destinations

Create an Amazon S3 Audience Destination to export audience data to existing Amazon S3 storage.

Note: Only users with the Admin or Creator role can create and manage Audience Destinations.

Create an Amazon S3 Audience Destination

  1. In MXO, choose Analyze.

  2. Select Audience Destinations.

  3. Click + Create.

  4. Enter a unique Name for your new destination.For example, BI Reporting.

  5. Optionally, provide a description for your new destination.

  6. Select Amazon S3 from the Destination drop-down.

  7. Select the format in which you want to share the data. Choose one of the following:

    • CSV
    • JSON
    • Data Export v8
  8. Provide the following details:

    FieldDescription
    RegionRegion in which your A3 bucket resides.
    S3 Bucket NameName of the A3 bucket in which you want to store shared audience data. For example, oneudiencedata.
    Note: If the bucket you specify does not already exist in AWS S3, it is created for you, as long as your AWS user account has the correct permissions.
    Path PatternThe file path to use to write data within the specified bucket. For example, import/audiencedata.
    AWS Access Key IDThe Access key ID associated with your AWS user account.
    AWS Secret KeyThe secret access key associated with your AWS user account.
  9. If you selected CSV or JSON format, choose which attributes to share with this destination. Choose either:

    • All attributes. Go to Step 13.
    • Specific attributes. Go to Step 10.
  10. Click + (Add).

  11. Select the attributes to share and click Select.

  12. If required, drag and drop the attributes in to the preferred order for sharing.

  13. Click Save.

Once your audience destination is configured, you can start sharing audience data.

Edit an Audience Destination

  1. In MXO, choose Analyze.
  2. Select Audience Destinations.
  3. Click the Edit icon next to the Audience Destination you want to edit.
  4. Make your required changes and then click Save.

Delete an Audience Destination

  1. In MXO, choose Analyze.
  2. Select Audience Destinations.
  3. Click the Delete icon next to the Audience Destination you want to delete.
  4. Click Yes, delete it.
