VIS 7.7 release notes
Released July 20, 2021
Read about the latest system updates, feature enhancements, and new features in VoiceXML Interaction Server (VIS).
Release highlights
A new Bridge transfer option has been added to assist with passing the caller ANI in Avaya environments.
In Avaya/IVG integrations without a Session Border Controller (SBC), the default Blind transfer method of transferring calls via SIP does not pass the caller ANI back to the Avaya environment successfully.
To remedy this, we have added a new configurable option to use the Bridge transfer method instead. In VIS, a new property in the toolkit.properties file (com.virtualhold.toolkit.transfer.type) has been added to choose between Bridge and Blind transfer.
See the IVG 5.1 release notes for additional information on a related HVP Application Parameter.
