VIS 7.8 release notes

Release highlights

  • VIS 7.8 supports the new Play EWT in CBDC Menu setting.

  • The Play EWT in CBDC Menu setting is implemented via a new Segment Variable in On-Premise Callback, called PlayEWTInCBDC. When enabled, customers will hear the current EWT spoken during the Callback Doublecheck (CBDC) offer. When disabled, customers will hear the CBDC offer without the EWT.

  • This feature will be included and enabled by default in On-Premise Callback 9.3 and higher. To activate the feature for lower versions of Callback, contact the VHT Support team.

  • VIS 7.8 will support IVG version 5.2. See the IVG documentation for more information on IVG 5.2 after it is released.

Fixed issues

Customers will no longer be offered the option to reschedule a callback when the Voice Scheduled Callbacks and Prompt Customer to Reschedule Callback settings are both disabled.

Previously, customers were still offered the option to reschedule a callback when these settings were disabled. An update in this release ensures that rescheduling will not be offered in this scenario.
