Create and Manage Azure Audience Destinations
Create an Azure Blob Audience Destination to export data to existing Azure Blob storage.
Create an Azure Blob Audience Destination
- In MXO, choose Analyze.
- Select Audience Destinations.
- Click + Create.
- Enter a unique Name for your new destination.For example, V8 Extracts.
- Optionally, provide a description for your new destination.
- Select Azure Blob from the Destination drop-down.
- Select the format in which you want to share the data. Choose one of the following:
- CSV
- JSON
- Data Export v8
- Provide the following details:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Storage Container Name | Name of the storage container in which you want to store shared audience data. For example, mycoaudiencedata. Note: You must set up your storage container before creating your audience destination. |
Path Pattern | The file path to use to write data within the specified storage container. For example, /import/audiencedata. |
Storage Account Name | Name of your Windows Azure storage account. This is the DNS prefix you used when creating your storage account. For example, for the account mycostorage.blob.core.windows.net, the account name is mycostorage. |
Access Type | Select one of the following and provide the relevant details: - Storage Account Access Key. The access key associated with your storage account. - SAS Token. The SAS token associated with your storage account. |
- If you selected CSV or JSON format, choose which attributes to share with this destination. Choose either:
- All attributes. Go to Step 13.
- Specific attributes. Go to Step 10.
- Click + (Add).
- Select the attributes to share and click Select.
- If required, drag and drop the attributes in to the preferred order for sharing.
- Click Save.
Once your audience destination is configured, you can start sharing audience data.
Example Azure Blob Configuration
Edit an Audience Destination
- In MXO, choose Analyze.
- Select Audience Destinations.
- Click the Edit icon next to the Audience Destination you want to edit.
- Make your required changes and then click Save.
Delete an Audience Destination
- In MXO, choose Analyze.
- Select Audience Destinations.
- Click the Delete icon next to the Audience Destination you want to delete.
- Click Yes, delete it.
