Create and Manage Propositions

Create a Proposition

  1. In MXO , choose Configure.

  2. Select Propositions.

  3. Click Create.

  4. Provide the following details for your Proposition:

    FieldDescription
    NameA unique name for your Proposition.
    CodeOptional. A unique Proposition Code for your Proposition.
    TypeSelect the type to Proposition to create. Choose whether you’re defining a Product or Service from the Type drop-down.
    Parent PropositionOptional. Select the parent for the Proposition you're creating.

  5. Click Save.

Edit a Proposition

  1. In MXO, choose Configure.
  2. Select Propositions.
  3. Click the Edit icon next to the Proposition you want to edit.
  4. Make your required changes and then click Save.

Delete a Proposition

  1. In MXO, choose Configure.
  2. Select Propositions.
  3. Click the Delete icon next to the Proposition you want to delete.
  4. Click Yes, delete it.
Note: You cannot delete a Proposition that is currently in use. You must remove any dependencies associated with the Proposition first.
