The following video displays the media upload process.

Tips for uploading media

  • Group files by language or country on your device. Upload each of these groups and use the Apply to all uploaded files checkbox when selecting language or country.

  • If media files have a shared filter value, select that filter first and use the Apply to all uploaded files checkbox. Then, add additional filters on a file by file basis.

Post-upload processing

After upload, media processes for display in the channel. While a media file processes, its Media Library thumbnail image is grey with the message Processing… and the media player on the Media View page is grey with the message Processing...

Once media has finished its initial processing, the platform displays a thumbnail image in the Media Library and the media is playable on Media View. If transcription and translation were ordered, and if the channel is set to process media for cognitive analytics, this data appears on the Media View as Filters and on a configured Analytics Module, once it finishes processing.
