Analytics Module

Medallia Video provides cognitive analyses to help navigate and supply additional data about multimedia content.

  • Sentiment Analysis — uses Natural Language Processing on text transcripts to provide a sentiment score on a per minute basis and an aggregate overall score. Can only be applied to video and audio transcripts.
  • Key Themes Analysis — uses Natural Language Processing to identify key terms within a English text transcript. Can only be applied to video and audio transcripts.
  • Facial Emotion Analytics — identifies emotion from facial expressions in video. Can only be applied to video files.
  • Object Recognition — can identify 20,000+ objects to help provide context for feedback. Can only be applied to video and image files.
Restriction: Video Analytics are not available for Video Experience Edition. Contact your Medallia Representative for more information.
Sentiment Analysis and Key Themes Analysis are included in Medallia Video Research Edition and Insights Suite, and are automatically available on every Video channel.
