Media View
The Media View displays a media file and all information associated with it. Use the Media View to play video and audio files, make clips for Showreels, and access Analytics Module data at the media item level.
Access the Media View for any file by clicking its thumbnail in the channel's Media Library.
This is an example of the Media View of a video file upload.
All media has a title. Description is optional and only appears if included with a media upload or if a platform user inputs one. For more information, see Managing media.

Media player
Video and audio files have a media player.
After media uploads, it takes a few moments to process. The player on the Media View page displays the message Processing... during this time.
Once processed, the player shows a still image from a video or the label Audio Recording for audio files.
- Play — Click to play the video or audio.
- Volume — Click to adjust the player volume.
- Settings — Click to access player speed settings. 1x speed by default. Available options are media playback of 0.5x, 1.5x, or 2x speed.
Likelihood of explicit content may be high or low. For more information, see Lewd video detection.
Rotate
Role required: Customer Admin, Channel Admin or Pro. See Video user roles.

Hover over the media player to extend the right side menu and click Rotate media.

Click or until you reach the correct orientation.

Click Save.

The media player or image viewer displays Processing... while the rotation processes. Refresh the page to view the rotated media.
Download
Role required: Customer Admin, Channel Admin or Pro. See Video user roles.
Video supports media download on a file by file basis.

Hover over the media player to extend the right side menu and click Download media.
- For video and audio, select a download option:

HD — High Definition, 720p. The media downloads in a .ZIP file.

SD — Standard Definition, 480p. The media downloads in a .ZIP file.
Note: If a video or image has blurring, users can download either the blurred or unblurred version of the media. -

Unzip the download on your device. For images, the .ZIP file contains the image .PNG file.
For video and audio, the .ZIP file contains:
- An .MP4 of the video or audio.
- The native transcript as a timestamped .VTT file.
- If applicable, the English translation as a timestamped .VTT file.
Tags
Tags add searchable text to a media item. There is no limit to the number of tags you can add. All users can see all tags on the Media View page.
Use cases for tags include making notations of non-verbal insights and to label themes, incentives or personas. If you upload a meeting via the Video Zoom integration, the meeting's Zoom unique identifier automatically appears as a tag.
To add a tag:

Type in the tag in the Tags text box.

Click Enter/Return on your keyboard to add the tag.
Tags can only be used to aid in channel search. Use Filters for a more structured media organization or navigation tool.
Filters
Filters are data in a Video channel that help organize and provide context for media uploads. All users can view the filters applied to media on the Media View screen. For general information about filters, see Filters.
Filters have two components:

Filter group — the filter category title. Example: Age. Hover over a filter name to view the Filter group.

Filter name — the filter value, which is applied to a media item. Filter names can be a single word or free text. Example: 20; Example: 18-24. Filter names applied to media are displayed on the Media View page.
To add a filter:
Role required: Customer Admin, Channel Admin or Pro. See Video user roles.
Before you begin, create filters to apply to media. For more information, see Create and edit filters.

Click Filter Editor. By default, the Filter Editor modal shows all filters applied to the media.

Click the Filter group that contains the desired filter.

Click the radio button to the left of the filter name. This automatically applies the filter.

(Optional) Apply more filters as needed.

Click the x in the upper right of the Filter Editor modal to exit.
To remove a filter:

Click Filter Editor. By default, the Filter Editor modal shows all filters applied to the media.

Deselect the radio button the left of each filter to remove it.

(Optional) Remove more filters as needed.

Click the x in the upper right of the Filter Editor modal to exit.
Managing media
Role required: Customer Admin, Channel Admin or Pro. See Video user roles.

Click Edit next to the media title.

In the Edit Upload modal window, edit the text of the Title. Title is required and has a 75 character maximum.
Add or edit the text of the Description. Description is optional and has a 600 character maximum.

Select from the Country menu.

Click Save.
Video supports media deletion on any item-by-item basis.
To delete media:

Click Edit next to the media title.

Click Delete.

In the Delete Confirmation modal window, click Confirm.

Media is permanently deleted when the Uploads screen displays.
Transcript field
All video and audio files have a transcript field.
Video transcripts created by Machine speech-to-text transcription are labeled (Auto) and with with a computer icon on the language tab, as shown in the image below.
Video transcripts created by Human transcription are labeled with a speech icon, as shown in the image below.
Transcript field messaging includes:
- There are no transcriptions available for this video — No transcription (and translation if applicable) is available. Either a transcript was not ordered for the media or transcription is currently in progress. If Transcription in Progress is available above the transcript field, see Tools in the transcript field below.
- This transcription contains no cue points — Machine Speech-to-Text processing did not identify any words.
Tools in the transcript field:
- Order Transcript — For more information, see Ordering a transcription.

Transcription in Progress — Click Transcriptions in Progress to see which transcription (and translation if applicable) solutions are in progress.

Search transcript — Search for a term or phrase in the spoken word transcript or English translation.
- Copy Transcript to Clipboard — Click to copy the full transcript text. For non-English media, start from the desired transcript tab (spoken word language or English translation tab).
- Edit Transcript — For more information, see Editing a transcript.
- Highlight Keywords — Click to view Key Themes. For more information, see Key Themes Analysis.
Cognitive Analytics charts
If Analytics services are activated on the channel, data displays in a labeled tab in the Cognitive chart beneath the transcript field.
If the service is not activated, the chart displays a messaged that it is Not Requested.
