Pausing surveys
Respondents can stop filling out a survey whenever they like and resume it at a later time. They can pause your survey by closing their browser window or by clicking on Pause.
Important: Respondent answers are saved when they click Next. It is recommended that they pause at the beginning of a new page.
Closing the browser window
When respondents close their browser, they can resume the survey by clicking the survey link again. They will automatically be brought back to the last page they were filling out.
Important: If you have activated , clicking the link will not resume the survey but open a completely new one.
Clicking Pause
Respondents can also click Pause at the bottom of a survey page.
The following page appears, where respondents can save the URL to go back to the survey at a later time. They will be brought to the past page they filled out.
To add or remove the Pause button, go to Settings > Appearance and select Show / Hide screen elements.
