Step 9 - Define Where you want to Personalize the Conversation

You need to define what you want MXO to do after it recognizes a customer activity. To do this, you need to specify an Online Optimization Point.

Typically, you'll use the MXO Extension to create and edit Optimization Points for web Touchpoints. Optimization Points for other channels are created using the main MXO UI.

As part of the process, you'll define a Viewpoint to ensure the correct variant of your content is displayed on each Touchpoint.

Viewpoints determine which Asset should be used for each Touchpoint. This enables you to carry on using existing Actions, rather than having to create new ones.

For example, you can have a single Action with three different Assets, a large graphic for your website, smaller graphic for your mobile site, and agent script for your call center, each associated with a different Viewpoint. This ensures the correct Asset is displayed on each of your Touchpoints.
