When a survey has an "Embedded in Page" trigger, the following targeting options are available:
Targeting tab
Use the options on the Targeting tab to control who receives this survey. Settings are evaluated together, and all conditions must be met for the button to be presented to the user.
Session Based targeting
- Display to % of visitors — Percentage of visitors to receive an invitation.
- Number of visits — The number of visits of a user.
- Number of pages viewed in visit — The number of page views within the current session.
- Don't invite a visitor who declined an invitation in the past X Days — Users who actively declined a survey invitation within the configured days range are excluded from this survey and it is not displayed on the page.
- Don't invite a visitor who submitted feedback in the past X Days — Users who submitted a survey invitation within the configured days range are excluded from this survey and it is not displayed on the page.
Metadata Based Targeting

Page Element ID — The HTML ID of the
div
element which hosts the form on the page. The ID must be unique on the page and the element must be empty. -
Target the following devices — Determines the devices on which the survey is displayed.

Target by rule — Defines a targeting rule for the survey.
- Include visitors on the following URLs - Enter URL paths to be included for invitation triggering. If empty, all paths are included. Enter each URL on a new line. See URL selection.
- Exclude visitors on the following URLs check box (4) - Enter URL pages to exclude from invitation triggering. If empty, no URL paths are excluded. Enter each URL on a new line. See URL selection.
