Release highlights
Upgrading
Interactive Voice Gateway (IVG) version 3.7 supports upgrading from IVG versions 3.5 or later.
The IVG installer has been enhanced to automate the voice platform provisioning for the following applications:
- Inbound
- Outbound
- Agent Priority
- Outreach
- Prompt Recorder
- Second Chance Callback
The IVG Setup Wizard collects the parameters required to provision an application in the voice platform, and provisions the applications during the installation process.
Automated SSL/TLS enablement
The IVG installer has been enhanced to allow for optional automated Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and Transport Layer Security (TLS) enablement, and automated SSL/TLS configuration of the SIP Secure (SIPS) and Secure RTP (SRTP) interfaces.
The IVG Setup Wizard collects the parameters required to enable SSL and TLS, and enables SSL/TLS during the installation process.
Password encryption
Operating system (OS) login credentials now use the AES 256 encryption algorithm.Prerequisite check
The IVG installer includes a prerequisite check at the beginning of the installation process. The prerequisite check verifies the required prerequisites have been satisfied prior to proceeding with the IVG installation. The prerequisite check for Operating System (OS) dependencies has been enhanced to accommodate existing dependencies, including dependencies with newer or higher versions than those bundled with the installer.
The prerequisite check can also be executed as a stand-alone process in advance of IVG installation to verify the prerequisites of an IVG server.
IVG .war file name change
The vht-ivg.war file has been renamed to ccis.war.
