(9.0+) Manage Phone Numbers

Manage Phone Numbers uploads and processes phone numbers for Outreach callbacks.

Outreach Upload Limits

  • The file containing the phone numbers must be under 4.7 megabytes or about 375,000 phone numbers.
  • The file must be a delimited text file.
  • Acceptable delimiters are: pipe (|), comma (,), space ( ), semicolon (;), and hard/carriage return or line feed.
  • Verify the delimiters exist in the final file.
  • Upload must take under two hours or timeouts will occur in the web service. Configuration timeouts should be increased to allow for long uploads.
  • List import time depends on the amount of phone numbers and the amount of RAM.

Note:

Results may vary slightly based on hardware, number and type of applications running, and other factors.

There was no significant change in CPU use for these tests.

Upload Phone Numbers

Import numbers from a file and add phone numbers manually.

Duplicate numbers will not be uploaded.

Phone numbers are listed from smallest to largest.

1. Choose Queue from dropdown at the top middle of the screen

2. Upload File:

  • Search for a file of phone numbers
  • Confirm upload in See Results:
    • File Uploaded name and type
    • Results:
      • Successfully Imported
      • Duplicates (or already active)
      • Invalid Phone Numbers
    • Successfully imported numbers become active after changes are saved.
  • Click Ok to exit the modal.

2. Optional: Manually add numbers after a file upload:

  • Click Add Phone Number
  • Enter only digits, no special characters.
  • Click the disk icon to add to the upload list.

3. Save Changes

Once numbers are added, Active Numbers shows how many were saved.

Modify a phone number on the list:

  • Search the list
  • Click Delete
  • Save Changes
  • Refer to step 2 to manually add.
  • Save Changes again.

Search Phone Numbers

Search for added phone numbers to see their status.

Phone numbers added but Not Saved will not be in ascending order; they will appear at the bottom of the list.

You can see information: dialing attempts, to delete, restore, not saved.

Ready to be Saved and Ready to be Deleted populate based on choosing the options to delete or restore individual phone numbers.

Select a number to delete, save, or restore and save changes.

Delete or Restore Phone Numbers

  1. Select Delete All Numbers.
  2. Choose Yes, mark for deletion in pop up.
  3. Numbers register as Ready to be Deleted.
  4. Save Changes.

OR

Delete manually:

  1. Type numbers into Search.
  2. Find the phone number in the results list.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. Number registers as Ready to be Deleted.
  5. Save Changes.

Restore individual numbers following this procedure or use Clear Changes option.

Until you Save Changes, numbers can be restored.

Clear Changes

Clear any changes at once instead of individually or restore any phone number manually.

  • Clear settings: Clears unsaved settings in Outreach: Operation, Retry Attempts, and Invalid Responses settings.
  • Clear phone numbers: Clears unsaved phone numbers
  • Clear both
  • Cancel

Save Changes and Save for All Queues

Save Changes for the queue chosen at the top middle of the screen.

Use the List icon in the middle to Save for All Queues.
