(9.0+) Holiday Operation

Use the Holiday Operation panel to allow the Callback system to override Operation Schedules.

  • Holiday Operations take precedence over any other operation schedule, preventing callback appointments from being accepted for these dates.
  • Scheduled callbacks are not launched during a holiday schedule.
  • Scheduled callbacks can not be scheduled on days that have holiday schedules set
    • This includes special schedules.
  • Create schedules eight days in advance.
  • Does not require a restart for changes to take effect.

Holiday dates reflect the day of observation.

Creating a Holiday Operation Schedule

  • Navigate to Configuration > Schedules > Holiday Operation.
  • Note the default queue displayed at the top center of the screen.
  • Use the dropdown menu to select other available queues.
  • Changes only affect the selected queue.
  • Add Holiday Operations at least eight days in advance. This prevents scheduling callback appointments during the holiday.
  • Callbacks already scheduled will launch on the next working day if a holiday is scheduled without enough lead time.
  • See Call Flow > Treatment > Operation Mode for the list of Operation Modes and their descriptions.
  • When using the default Closed All Day (Standby Mode) setting, the system will be put into Standby Mode from midnight to midnight.
  • Warnings will display for any incomplete schedules.

Setting a Schedule

  • Click Add Date.
  • Choose a holiday using the Search recognized holidays field, Pick a Date button, or scrolling list of Recognized Holidays.
  • Click Create new schedule.
  • Closed All Day(Standby Mode) is set by default.
  • Save Changes.

Setting a Special Schedule

  • Click Add Date.
  • Choose a holiday using the Search recognized holidays field, Pick a Date button, or scrolling list of Recognized Holidays.
  • Click Create new schedule.
  • Click Special Schedule.
  • Choose the new event start time.
  • Choose an Operation Mode from the drop down menu.
  • Optional: click Add New Event to schedule additional times and Operation Modes for this holiday.
  • Save Changes.
Tip: If the Special Schedule must have at least one event warning displays, resolve this issue by adding an event, switching to Closed All Day (Standby Mode), or by deleting the Holiday from the list and then selecting Closed All Day (Standby Mode).

Editing a Holiday Operation Schedule

  • Use the dropdown tab to display the list of Holidays you wish to edit.
  • Choose a date.
  • The group of holidays that share the same schedule will be displayed.
Important: When making changes to an existing schedule, all holidays that share the schedule will be affected.

Modify an existing schedule.

A schedule can be modified by:

  • Updating the schedule's operation modes -Updates apply to all holidays in the schedule
  • Removing a holiday from the schedule - Delete from the group and add to another schedule of events.
  • Choose the holiday from the drop down menu.
  • Remove the holiday from the group.
  • Save Changes.
  • Click Add Date.
  • Re-select the deleted holiday.
  • Click Create New Schedule.
  • Choose Closed All Day (Standby Mode) or Special Schedule.
  • Optional: add a times and Operation Modes to Special Schedule if selected.
  • Save Changes.

Add a Holiday to an existing schedule

  • Find the correct group Holiday schedule in the modal.
  • Click Add Date.
  • Choose the holiday.
  • Choose Add to existing schedule.
  • Save Changes.
