(9.0+) Add New Segment

  • A queue is made up of one or more segments.
  • Segments can be configured as incoming applications, incoming extensions, and VRU services.
  • The topics in this section contain more information about adding segments based on your environment.
  • Add new segments to a queue without requiring a restart of the VHT Callback® system.
Note:
  • The collection of pending queues or segments is called a change group.
  • A change group may contain queues or segments, but not a mixture of both.
Aspect or TIAL_ICM
  1. Select a queue to add to a segment by using the search field to locate new and existing queues.
  2. Add a new segment (incoming extension).
  3. Add a new segment (incoming application).
  4. Activate the new queues and segments for the changes to take effect.
  5. Search for any pending changes that have been made.
Cisco UCCE
  1. Select a queue to add to a segment by using the search field to locate new and existing queues.
